WHO WE ARE:       Air Designs is the #1 source for set dressing and props in the San Fernando Valley. Air Designs specializes in street, restaurant, bar, coffee shop, lighting, warehouse, NASCAR, automotive and vending machines. OUR HISTORY:       Daniel McLoughlin Selover opened Air Designs in the summer of 2000 in a small 11,000 square foot warehouse in Pacoima, California. With a combination of Dan's personal collections and items he acquired from the Hollywood Central Props auction, Dan hoped to create a new experience in prop and set dressing rentals.       Dan operated the business with his oldest son, Blake Selover, with the intention of eventually handing down the company to his sons. Quickly, Air Designs filled its facility to the brim with a focused inventory of props. In 2001, Christine Selover, Dan's wife, left Independent Studio Servies to join Air Designs to handle the accounting for the company. In 2005, after completing a three month sailing adventure off the coast of Australia, Bevan Selover, Dan's youngest son, joined Air Designs.       In 2006, Air Designs purchased the inventory of Arksyd Rentals, formerly Al's Studio rentals. With the acquirement of new inventory and Dan's collections, Air moved into a new 55,000 square foot warehouse in Sun Valley, California.       Currently, Dan has stepped away from the business to open his movie ranch, Middleton Ranch, in Acton, California. He has entrusted the business to his sons Blake and Bevan, so they can continue to move Air Designs forward into the future.
